Dried Squid is the New Paper
What if dried squid could become paper? This project imagines an alternate material world where instead of pulp, traditional dried squid becomes the primary form of printed communication.
The identity and printed visuals were created by considering the texture, smell, fragility, and material personality of dried squid — treating it as a speculative everyday medium.
만약 종이 대신 ‘말린 오징어’를 사용한다면 어떨까? 이 프로젝트는 pulp 기반 종이 대신 말린 오징어가 일상적인 인쇄 매체가 되는 상상에서 출발했다.
오징어 특유의 질감, 냄새, 단단한 표면, 유기적 형태를 기반으로 재료 자체를 하나의 시각 언어로 사용했다.
