Processed Paper
Processed Paper is a series of printing experiments using special papers, black-and-white digital printing, and manual post-processing.
Blank digital images were printed in black on textured and coated stocks, then transformed through cutting, folding, scratching, and other hand processes. The work explores how much “content” can be generated from almost nothing— from a surface that initially carries no explicit image.
Processed Paper는 특수 용지와 흑백 인쇄, 그리고 수작업 후가공을 결합한 인쇄 실험 시리즈입니다.
아무것도 담기지 않은 공백의 디지털 이미지를 흑백으로 인쇄한 뒤, 자르기, 접기, 긁어내기 등의 수공업적 가공을 거치며 종이의 표면을 변형했습니다. 인쇄 내용이 거의 없는 상태에서, 종이 자체의 물성과 후가공만으로 얼마나 많은 ‘이미지’와 ‘감각’을 만들어낼 수 있는지 탐구한 작업입니다.
